About Insurance Exams
The insurance sector is one of the fastest-growing economies of our country which provides a large number of career advancement opportunities. The job profile in this sector involves purchasing and maintaining various financial, administrative and personal services, carrying out work and purchase inquiries, and preparing and scrutinizing the bills for payment. LIC is one of the biggest players among the Public Sector Insurance Companies. Being an old company, retirements happen every year at the senior level. Hence, new recruits have a better than fair chance to move up. Here is the list of insurance exam which is conducted in India.
LIC AAO
LIC issues AAO (Assistant Administrative Officer) Recruitment Notification every year. Interested and Eligible contenders may apply for the LIC Recruitment. Recruitment for AAO is made on the basis of performance in the online examination followed by a personal interview of shortlisted candidates and subsequent Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination. The LIC AAO job profile mainly involves more administrative work than roles involving direct interactions with customers. LIC AAO is a job in which the candidate can be transferred from one location to another as LIC has numerous branches all over India.
LIC ADO
LIC issues ADO ( Apprentice Development Officers) Recruitment Notification every year. Now the notification for the year 2018 is going to release very soon. The notification may release in the month of August as per the last year's notification. Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the largest Life Insurance Company in India having 2048 Branches and 109 Divisional Offices. LIC recruits Apprentice Development Officers in the jurisdiction of the various Divisional Offices under nine different Zones. For the recruitment to ADO, preference is given to those applicants who possess Masters Degree in Business Administration in Marketing or Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from a University in India established under Statute or by an Institute approved by All India Council for Technical Education or a recognized Institution.
NIACL AO & Assistant
NIACL stands for New India Assurance Company Ltd. is a public sector general insurance company of India. It is the largest general insurance company of India on the basis of gross premium collection inclusive of foreign operations. NIACL declare vacancies every year for the assistant post.
NICL AO
The National Insurance Corporation Limited (NICL) accepts applications from all the eligible candidates who would like to work as an Administrative Officer (AO) in NICL. The applicants participating in the NICL Career will be selected based on their performance in the written examinations and interview.
UIIC Assistant
UIIC or United Insurance Company Limited was established on 18th February 1938 incorporated as a 2nd largest general insurance company of Government of India. 22 Insurance Companies merged to form the UIIC establishment. The company is now a trusted Insurer in India with global recognition. UIIC is providing a variety of insurance covers to the rural people across India. Candidates have three main stages of the exam to qualify for a job post of United India Insurance Company. These three phases are – Preliminary exam, Main exam, and Regional language test. The examination is conducted in online mode with objective type questions

Phase-II: Mains Examination
Mains examination will consist of objective tests for 300 marks and descriptive test for 25 marks. Both the objective and descriptive tests will be online. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. Candidates will have to answer the descriptive test by typing on the computer. The descriptive test will be administered immediately after the completion of the objective test.
